Lee commended the government for its diplomatic efforts but insisted on more tangible support for fishermen facing harassment in disputed waters.

“Kung agresibo ang Tsina, kailangang agresibo din tayo sa pagsuporta sa ating mga mangingisda,” Lee declared, as he pushed for immediate relief and long-term solutions to sustain the livelihoods of local fishermen.
